PolySoft Version 2.20 (Build 20)
This document contains a list of new features (NF) changes (CH) and bug fixes (BF) in HAAKE PolySoft version 2.00. New features are displayed in bold characters.

Windows Vista. Several file locations and registry keys have been changed to meet Vista's requirements. |

Mixer software for HAAKE PolyLab OS, QC introduced. Allows to run defined mixer tests. No access to Evaluation menu. |
| 3 | CH | During installation the entry fields for the software
key only allow hexadecimal values. All Character 'A'-'F' are automatically displayed as upper characters. Messages texts in case of not matching keys now more explaining. |
| 4 | BF | Trying to Change the Software configuration in Windows Control Panel without entering the PolySoft key, changes the installed Mixer Software to an Evaluation only setup. |

| 1 | CH | In Device Setup dialog, page Die the order number of selected Rod die and rod capillary die Geometries is displayed. This shall help identifying the correct selection. |
| 2 | BF | Bug in quick change of feeder speed fixed, right mouse click on feeder speed (+/- 10, 20...) in Monitor view now also updates display of the setpoint value. |
| 3 | CH | Display of Heat/Cool view improved for setups with many
heating zones (> 6). Now scaling of texts is adjusted to available space on the screen. Important for PTW 16 or PTW 24 setups. |
| 4 | BF | Calculation of Mechanical Power now uses the extruders gear box ratio. (PTW24: 2, PTW16: 5.4) |
| 5 | NF | Display of temperature control output
value ( 0 - 100%) in Excel data dump available. Each temperature zone value is follows by a column Y%n value in the table. |
| 6 | CH | Markers in Monitor's Graph view remain visible even after resetting the time. |
| 7 | NF | Over Temperature alarms are displayed in PolySoft
Monitor's Alarm dialog. Temperature alarms can be resettled from this dialog without restarting the PolyLab. To enable heating the Enable Heating button has to be pressed after the alarm reset. |
| 8 | BF | The order of connected feeders can now be changed from
the Device Setup dialog without problems. In prior versions the order was not accepted in all circumstances. A once defined order of feeders remains set even after restarting the PolySoft OS Monitor. |
| 9 | CH | Name of Feeder now includes it's address( I.e. 'MeteringFeeder
100'). By this several feeders of same type can be distinguished in the Device Setup dialog. |
| 10 | NF | New PTW die geometry W: 22 mm and W: 50 mm available. |
| 11 | CH | The new format of Thermo Karlsruhe serial numbers can
be displayed. Previous installed units remain the old format. |
| Mixer Test software | ||

| 1 | NF | A message can be displayed at start of a new Mixer
step. The message's text is entered in the Step definition dialog. A sound shall alarm the user. |
| 2 | BF | The sample mass entered in the Protocol window at measurement start is now used for the calculations and messages ('Fill xx g of material') for the actual measurement. |
| 3 | BF | Bug during opening device setup in Mixer software
removed. In previous versions, hitting the Next button in the Device Setup Element could lead to "Internal error" message of the PolySoft OS. |
| 4 | CH | Display of temperature bars during start of mixer measurement improved, shows more clearly whether the target temperature is reached. Now also deviations are clearly displayed when actual temperature exceeds the entered setpoint. |
