This document contains a list of new features and bug fixes in HAAKE PolySoft version 1.60

 

 

 

Installation
No. Type Description
1 CH Multiple keys can now be entered in a single session of the Setup. Repeated setups are no longer necessary.
PolySoft Monitor
No. Type Description
1 NF HAAKE Phoenix circulators can be connected to serial port of PC and are recognized by the software. By this  liquid temperature controlled devices i. e, Rheomix 610 and Rheomix 3010 can be controlled and monitored from the PC software.
2 BF Updates of graphic have been sometimes prevented by bug in previous version.
3 NF An open barrel respective open security switch is now reported in the status line of the monitor.
4 NF Special co-rotating mixer Rheomix PTW 14/8 OS unit recognized.
5 NF Docking OS unit to connect measurement units of old RC90 times recognized by the software.

 

PolySoft OS application (general)
No. Type Description
1 BF Character setup changed, so also list selection of printing templates work also with Japanese version of Windows.
2 CH Naming for Current record in Project view streamlined (in previous version a mixture of New, Actual and Current has been used)
3 BF Several reasons for occasional software messages at end of software session removed.

 

Mixer Test software
No. Type Description
1 CH Detection of characteristic measurement points improved.
2 NF Free maximal can be introduced to an evaluation method.
3 NF Template for free new evaluation included.

 

Capillary Test software
No. Type Description
1 EX Slit capillary measurements are now supported by PolySoft OS. All available slit geometries can be selected from a list in program's Device Setup.
2 EX Measurements with MeltPump OS is now supported. MeltPump OS is used to generate a controlled constant volume flow.
3 CH The Cut strand indicating sound is now played using the PC#s sound card. By this it can be much louder and recognized even in industrial environment.
4 EX New messages implemented in order to help user to create a suitable capillary measurement setup.
5 BF A bug limiting the maximum number of measurement steps to 20 removed.
